Spring Half Term Fun

So what do you do when you have a week off and 3 children? That's right. You spend at least one day in Science Museum in London. You'd think I am crazy. Maybe. But my children loved it. There was so much to see and so much to learn that a day wasn't enough.

When I was more interested in the history of these:

My husband and my son were more interested in theses:

"cars""apple imac""old beatle"

Where my eldest daughter was interested in these exhibits:

My youngest daughter was more prone to spend her time in the toilets. What can I say, her needs were greater than the importance of any exhibit.

It was a lovely family day out and to finish it off we decided to dine in a little thai restaurant called "Thai Square". If you ever are in South Kensington, London, pop in. You won't regret ordering the egg noodles with chicken (unless you are a vegetarian).

   Happy Wednesday

Quy Mill Hotel : Alex + Natasha

She said she will get ready at her parents house, as the walls there match her wedding colour scheme. Besides, which parent would reject the absolute pleasure of the final hassle and transformation of their child into a stunning bride.

Open hearted and bubbly girl herself, she always knew what she wanted and she ALWAYS got it. At the age of sixteen, during the annual family diary updates, she wrote that she wants to be a photographer. How funny. Graduating the School of Arts in Cambridge she IS a Professional Wedding Photographer now. I feel privileged and honoured to be able to document her wedding, and you can imagine the huge responsibility I had on the day.

She always had an eye to details and when it came to choose the vendors for her own wedding she refused everyone, not because they were not good enough, but because she wanted to give her personal touch to every detail: table names, name tags, room and table décor, favours for the guests...

...and the guests liked it so much, they decided to wear their own name tags...

As the day moved smoothly to the plan and the time came for the couple's photo shoot the sun disappeared behind the clouds. That didn't stop us. It gave us the perfect natural looking light. Perfect for creating art!

And to finish it off I just want to say how honoured I was to be part of this beautiful day. Natasha's parents and she herself made me feel like part of the family. I am truly blessed to get to know them and share one of the happiest days with them.

Happy Monday

The Barns Hotel : Peter + Kimberley

He could not decide which church is the right one for him. Which one to attend for the services? He made a decision to check All Nations Church as well and then he will make his mind up.
She was stood there with her girl friends, standing out from all with her beautiful smile. As he walked passed them her deep blue eyes followed him until he disappeared in the doorway. "This is a sign" her friends said. "Nuh, don't be silly".
   But was it a sign?
Six months later Peter proposed to Kim. A year later they got married and celebrated thee start of the new happier life with their close friends and family.

The unique bouquet of the bride consisted of brooches and clips that she put together herself with her bridesmaids' help.

I want to finish today's blog with the photos at sunset, that reflected the real feeling of the day - romantic and full of love.
